Heard here on tenor sax, english horn, and other woodwinds, Renzi presents a fresh new set of compositions that cover a broad range of moods and styles. The recording showcases Renzi’s lyrical, rhythmic improvisations as well as his elegant writing. Renzi is joined by pianist extraordinaire Dahveed Behroozi, Josh Thurston-Milgrom on bass and Tim Bulkley on drums.
